I am the Co-President of the Ethics Forum at Stuyvesant, where we discuss all sorts of cool things, from thought experiments to free will to the political controversies of our day. The Ethics Forum at Stuyvesant sends two teams annually to compete in the Ethics Bowl, holds talks with professors, ethicists, & more, and publishes a bi-annual student run magazine. I became involved with the Ethics Bowl in my Freshman year and fell in love with the idea that we can examine our world’s moral reasoning and understand how it is applied to so many aspects of life. I believe that philosophy is deeply worthwhile in building inquisitive minds and critical thinking, and I’m proud to be a part of such a supportive community of thinkers.
